This powerful smart sensor with two-way communication brings intelligent audio analytics to your environments at scale.

R170 Micro-Dome Camera

This discreet micro-dome delivers powerful surveillance and AI video analytics in the smallest possible footprint.

Secure Raw Streaming

A safer alternative to RTSP, Secure Raw Streaming enables you to stream live video from Rhombus cameras to third-party devices and applications.

Alongside these major releases came dozens of new features and thousands of optimizations. From additional search filters for License Plate Recognition, to snooze for alerts, to additional shared stream configurability, these improvements were automatically rolled out to users at no cost.

The Big Rebrand

New look, same Rhombus!

‘Rhombus Systems’ was founded in 2016, but our customers, internal employees, and partners have always referred to us as simply ‘Rhombus.’

Now, it’s official. Rhombus Systems rebranded to Rhombus in 2022, and we launched a new logo and website to align our brand and reflect company values: simplicity, integrity, friendliness, and innovation.

Growth, Partnerships, and People

Relationships are at the heart of what we do at Rhombus. We believe in always doing what’s best for our customers and ensuring your experience is the best it can be. 2022 was a year to continue investing in partnerships, people, and relationships.

Embracing Explosive Growth

Our incredible team is our greatest strength, and Team Rhombus has been growing nonstop over the past year! In 2022, we doubled in size and officially moved into our new Sacramento Headquarters, a beautiful space in midtown Sacramento with room to continue expanding.

Supporting the Global Partner Network

This year, we hosted the first Partner Advisory Board meeting at our headquarters.

Collaborating with our global network of integrators and resellers is one of the most rewarding parts of the business. Their insights and expertise provide incredible value, and we believe that asking the right questions and listening to others—partners and customers—is one of Rhombus’ biggest strengths.

As we move into 2023 and beyond, we’re excited to grow and invest in the Rhombus Partner Program and continue building relationships based on trust, integrity, and a commitment to providing best-in-class solutions.

Nurturing the Community

At Rhombus, we’re on a mission to build a safer future. Along the way, we’re weaving a spirit of community service into our company culture.

In 2022, we launched a long-term community service project: we partnered with the American River Parkway Foundation and adopted a mile alongside the American River.

“As our company grows, we want to find ways to give back to the community that has given us so much,” says Garrett, CEO and co-founder of Rhombus. “We decided that adopting a mile is the perfect way to kick off our ‘Give Back to Sac’ initiative."
