We are excited to announce our partnership with Omnilert, a leader in AI-powered visual weapon detection. This integration allows Rhombus customers to detect weapons in their video footage in real time and receive immediate alerts, helping to stop threats before they start.

This is ideal for a variety of industries, including education, healthcare, manufacturing, and government, where it can be used to protect people in schools, offices, hospitals, factories, and other public spaces.

How Does It Work? 

Omnilert pulls secure raw streams from Rhombus cameras to an on-premise device. The device visually verifies the presence of a weapon in the Rhombus Console. A tick mark is placed on the timeline where the weapon was detected, and the user is alerted via their selected action (SMS, email, browser push, mobile push, Slack, or Teams). If the customer would like to add human verification to the process, they have that option through Omnilert's services.
